A Weekend Getaway

About 5 hours from Fort Collins lies one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The Great Sand Dunes. My friend Katie and I left at around 2:30 in the morning to drive up to the National Park and meet our friends Jackie and Anisa there. Being there is nearly indescribable. Living in Colorado, I have learned to love the mountains. But deep down, I know I am a beach person. Being able to experience sand, water, and mountains; all at once, is a blessing.
