My Philosophy

Anyone can take a photo or record a video. It is up to the person behind the camera to make it meaningful. Artists are able to create meaning in our images through our relationship with our clients. If you’re looking for the people who will show up, do the job, and leave; I’m not that person. If you’re looking for the most budget-friendly option, I’m not that either. You deserve to work with someone who can accommodate everything you can imagine; so if I’m not a good match, that’s alright! My priority is creating beautiful content, unique to you. This means meeting, learning, laughing, and lastly, creating.

This is arguably the most exciting and important part of my workflow besides actually shooting! I encourage everyone who is interested in working together to answer the contact form with as much detail and personality as possible; because the moment I receive your email, I start to learn about who you are!

What is next?

Don’t know what to wear? Where to shoot? Let us help you! At this point, I already have your contact information and you have mine. Use it! Seriously. You can call, text or email me whenever you need to. I am always brainstorming and dreaming about different shoot ideas, and would love to hear yours as well. Typically I will be in touch via email or text sending each other color palettes, mood boards and locations to ensure we are all satisfied and excited to shoot. If possible, I’d like to schedule a time to talk to you directly just to confirm everything we’ve discussed prior to the start of our shoot. Whether that is in person at your favorite coffee shop, or online in the comfort of your home, it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll then finalize all the details and you will have the opportunity to talk to me about, well, anything really! This could be any last minute questions, concerns, or details you think I should know. Again, I want this to be a fun, exciting, and unique experience for the both of us! The more I know about you, the more I can help create something that will last a lifetime.

This is it! It’s time to bring your vision to life. Expect a session filled with conversations, adventure, and laughter. Although each job is different, my goal to provide you an experience tailored for you remains the same. I’m all about delivering you the best images, and you should never have to sacrifice your comfort to do so. Again, I’m not just here to stand around and click a button. I’m here to be there for you. So if you want to play some of your favorite music throughout your shoot, I’m ready to listen. If you want to bring your dogs, I will come with treats and belly rubs.
